Last Updated: November 11, 2025

The following are the Terms of Services (“Terms”) that govern your use of the PATRON TECHNOLOGY LTD t/a Leap Event Technology (“Leap Event Technology”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”) site — https://leapevents.com and associated services (collectively, the “Site”), and your purchase, possession, or use of any tickets, products, merchandise or services on the Site for events created by promoters and event organisers (“Event Organisers”).

By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using this Site, including all related services, systems, platforms, and applications, you expressly agree you have read, understand and are agreeing to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations governing the Site. If you do not agree with any of these terms, do not use this Site.

You must be 18 years or older to use the Site. Please note that while some of the events listed on the Site may appeal to children, the Site is not targeted at children under the age of 18, and they are not permitted to use the Site. We strongly encourage all parents and guardians to monitor their children’s Internet use.

We have the right to modify these Terms at our discretion, at any time without notice, and the terms will become effective immediately upon publication to the Site. The version of these Terms in effect at the time an event ticket is purchased will govern that transaction.

1. Use and Restrictions

Use of the Site:

We grant you a non-exclusive right to use and access our services for the purposes of browsing the Site, searching for events, registering for events, and interacting with events, Event Organisers, and us. The following uses of our services, including the Site and all functions therein, are strictly forbidden:

  1. Using the service in any way that violates these Terms;
  2. Using the service in any way that breaches any applicable laws and regulations;
  3. Attempting to reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, or otherwise disclose the underlying source code or infrastructure of the service or the Site;
  4. Using the service for fraudulent activity or activity that facilitates fraud;
  5. Using or enabling others to use bots, scrapers, spiders, or any other technology or automated means to access the service for any purpose without our written permission;
  6. Duplicating, downloading, publishing, modifying or otherwise distributing the material on this Site for any purpose other than to review an event and its promotional information, for personal use, or to purchase tickets for your personal use, unless otherwise specifically authorised by us to do so;
  7. Using or enabling others to use the service in a way that imposes what we deem to be an illicit, excessive, or unnecessarily heavy burden on our infrastructure, regardless of whether such activity is an intentional attempt to interfere with the proper operation of the Site; and
  8. Bypassing or enabling others to bypass any measures we take to restrict access to unauthorised areas of the service or using any software, bots or technology to circumvent the security of the Site.

2. Satisfaction

We provide the ticketing software used to process ticket sales and admissions for the events listed on the Site. We are not responsible for the production, experience or cancellation of events listed on the Site. Events listed on the site are managed and operated by the Event Organiser. If you are unsatisfied with your experience with an event listed on the Site, you must speak to a valid representative of the Event Organiser or the event venue.

3. Content on Site

We are not responsible for any content posted or displayed on any page within the Site by our users (including Event Organisers). Such information does not represent the viewpoints or opinions of Leap Event Technology. We cannot be held responsible for any agreements, contracts, unfulfilled promises or any communication made between an Event Organiser and a third party. We are not responsible for any illegal or unlawful material—including defamatory, indecent, pornographic, obscene, otherwise objectionable or harmful, or copyrighted material—posted to an event page by an Event Organiser on the Site or otherwise provided by users to, through, or using the Site.

4. Events & Ticketing

Accuracy of Information: Users of any of our services certify that any information provided to us is complete and accurate. We will make every effort to validate the billing information you provide us; however, if we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to cancel your tickets or prohibit you from using the Site.

Ticket Purchasing: Purchases of tickets made through the Site must be made by credit card, debit card, or alternative payment methods determined by Leap Event Technology (e.g., PayPal, ApplePay, Google Pay, AfterPay etc.). If the payment information that you submit is incorrect or invalid, your payment will not be processed. We have no responsibility or liability if your payment is declined. Payments are processed through third-party payment processors.

Payment Plan: In some instances, Leap Event Technology and the Event Organiser may agree to permit payment plans, if such option is available on the Site, and you select a payment plan during checkout, your tickets will be reserved at the time of purchase. We will charge your credit card at the time of purchase and again automatically on all dates designated in your payment plan. Once your account is paid in full, your tickets will be delivered. If we are unable to process any scheduled payment, we will contact you to update your payment information. If you do not complete your payments as planned, your order may be subject to cancellation, and you will forfeit any payments. This decision is left to the discretion of the Event Organiser. Please note that if the order is cancelled, you will lose your ticket reservation, and the tickets will be returned to the inventory for another customer to purchase.

Fees: Non-refundable service fees may be added to each ticket and/or order. By purchasing tickets from us, you agree to pay these fees and understand that the fees may not be refunded. The customer is responsible for any carrier fees associated with its chosen method of ticket delivery. Any service fees or other fees collected from you during the checkout process are set solely by the Event Organiser.

Ticket Limits: In order to discourage unfair ticket purchase practices, Event Organisers may set maximum limits for the number of tickets purchased per person. We are not responsible for these limits, nor are we able to circumvent them in any way. Any attempted or actual circumvention of these limits by a customer will result in the termination, without compensation or liability to you, of any further use of any of our services and the nullification of any tickets purchased.

Unlawful Ticket Reselling: We in no way condone the unlawful resale of tickets. Any unlawful resale of tickets, or attempt to resell tickets, purchased through the Site will result in us terminating those tickets without compensation or liability to you, as well as the customer being barred indefinitely from use of any of our services.

Alteration of Event Listings: We reserve the right to remove any event listing from the Site at any time, under any circumstances, and for any reason.

Pricing And Ticket Availability: We sell tickets on behalf of Event Organiser’s which means we do not determine the ticket prices, booking fees, ticket delivery fees, or the seating selections. While we set our standard fees, Event Organisers decide how they are applied. Ticket inventory and availability is the responsibility of the Event Organiser. Given inventory is set by the Event Organiser, popular events may sell out quickly.

All tickets and pricing on the Site are listed in the currency displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to cancel and refund any ticket(s) purchased due to an error in pricing or other listing information, whether caused by typographical error, system malfunction, or otherwise.

Account: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account on the Site (including username and password) and for your activity on your account. You shall not permit any third party to use your account. If you become aware or suspect that anyone has your account or knows your username and/or password, please contact us immediately.

The individual who places an order (the ‘Account Owner’) is deemed the sole owner of all tickets within that order, even where tickets display another name.  Only the Account Owner has the right to access, manage, or transfer tickets associated with their account. Any disputes relating to ownership of tickets between the Account Owner and third parties must be resolved privately, and Leap Event Technology will not be responsible for resolving disputes between an Account Owner and third parties regarding ticket ownership or access.

Credit Card Purchases – Proof Of Identity: In some cases, Leap Event Technology and/or the Event Organiser may request that a ticket holder present the credit card used when purchasing tickets in order to gain admittance to the event, or prior to the event for fraud preventative measures. If you are unable to present the credit card used to purchase tickets and a photo identification (which must match each other and must match the name under which the booking was made) we and/or the Event Organiser may at its discretion cancel any tickets under the booking and refuse entry into the event.

Licensed Venues – Proof Of Identity: Tickets sold for events at licensed venues require a valid driver’s license, passport or proof of age to prove you are over 18 years of age. You may need to present this proof of identification at the event venue to obtain admission. It is your sole responsibility to check the relevant event information page for any age restrictions and entry requirements which may be set by the Event Organiser.

Delivery Of Tickets: Through the Site, the Event Organiser may elect to offer one or more of the following delivery options for your ticket order. The proof of identity requirements set out in above will apply regardless of the delivery of ticket method used.

  1. By “email / e-ticket” option: The Site provides an opportunity for you to provide your email address and we will attempt to deliver your e-ticket by email to that email address. If you do not receive your e-ticket then please contact us by email at [email protected] at least 48 hours before the scheduled event.
  2. By “SMS” option: If enabled for the event, you may elect to receive your ticket(s) by SMS to the mobile number provided at the point of purchase. A link to the digital ticket(s) will be sent to your mobile number. Additional delivery fees may apply if using this option.
  3. By “at the door” option: Tickets delivered through “at the door” delivery option are typically available one (1) hour prior to the event start time at the location set by the Event Organiser.
  4. By “Post” or “Registered Post” option: Please ensure you supply the correct billing and credit card account information for ticket orders as incorrect details will delay processing and delivery. Leap Event Technology and Event Organiser do not post to PO Boxes. Delivery of tickets are the responsibility of the Event Organiser, unless we have undertaken to provide this service to the Event Organiser. If you have not received your tickets within 48 hours of the event, please contact the Event Organiser via the phone number or email address supplied on the Event Organiser’s Leap Event Technology event page or contact us at [email protected].

All purchases are charged to your credit card at the time of purchase, not at the time of entry to the event. Any delivery options that attract delivery fees for an Event will be displayed during the purchase process

FURTHER, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUR INDEMNIFICATION OBLIGATION SHALL NOT APPLY TO ANY WILLFUL, INTENTIONAL OR RECKLESS MISCONDUCT OF THE Leap Event Technology INDEMNITEES, OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF THE Leap Event Technology INDEMNITEES.

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify the Leap Event Technology Indemnitees, and you agree to cooperate with our defence of such claims. You agree not to settle any such claim without our prior written consent.

Leap Event Technology disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any customers, third party users, advertisers and/or sponsors on the Site, in connection with the Site or otherwise related to your use of the Site. Leap Event Technology is not responsible for the products, services, actions or failure to act of any venue, performer, Event Organiser or other third party in connection with or referenced on the Site. Without limiting the other provisions of this clause 7, you may report the misconduct of users and/or third party advertisers, service and/or product providers referenced on or included in the Site to us at [email protected]. 10. Illegal Content

You may only submit content to the Site where you have the rights to do so. In particular, you:

  • may not use the Site to unlawfully transmit copyrighted material (including articles, images, stories and software) without a license, express consent, valid defence or fair use exemption to do so;
  • must ensure that the content you upload does not infringe the copyrights or other rights of third parties (such as privacy or publicity rights); and
  • must not upload any defamatory content to the Site.

11. Prohibited Content

  • Any communication that incites or promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, antisemitism, bigotry, or physical harm to others;

  • Any pornographic or sexually explicit material
  • Any communication that solicits personal information for commercial or advertising purposes that is not otherwise approved by us; or
  • Any communication intended to engage others in commercial activities that is not otherwise approved by us.

12. Violation of Terms

If you violate any of the Terms or undertake any illegal and/or unauthorised use of the Site, we reserve the right to terminate your account, bar you from using any of our services, cancel any ticket orders and take appropriate legal action, in each case without compensation or liability to you.

You must not create or use multiple accounts in order to circumvent any of these Terms or to conceal your identity or other personal details.

If you violate these Terms including if you post or provide any content to the Site (“User Content”) which violates these Terms or has violated the rights of Leap Event Technology, any other user or the law, we may terminate your use of the Site, prevent you from making all future bookings using the Site, and/or take legal action against you. Where this occurs, we will notify you.

If you materially violate these Terms, we may cancel your ticket orders in which case we will provide you with notice of that cancellation and may provide you with a refund of the ticket price paid by you (at our discretion).

You agree that monetary damages may not provide a sufficient remedy to Leap Event Technology for violations of these Terms and you consent to injunctive or other equitable relief for such violations.

Leap Event Technology may release user information about you if required by law or subpoena, or if the information is necessary or appropriate to release to address an unlawful or harmful activity. This is in addition to any other uses permitted under our Privacy Policy.

Leap Event Technology is not required to provide any refund to you if you are terminated as a user because you have violated these Terms, except as expressly set out in these Terms or as otherwise required by law.

13. Exchanges and Refunds

Before purchasing tickets to an event, please carefully review your event and ticket selection. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES will be available on ticket purchases except in accordance with these Terms, or as otherwise required by European Union consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU.

For any change of mind, change in personal circumstances or mistaken ticket purchases, refunds are not guaranteed, and are at the sole discretion of the Event Organiser. Unless required by law, neither Leap Event Technology nor the Event Organiser will be liable for any losses or expenses incurred as a result of any cancellation, postponement or rescheduling of an event (including without limitation, travel and accommodation costs, out of pocket expenses).

Leap Event Technology cannot offer you a refund if you can no longer attend an event for any personal circumstances, however, subject to the Event Organiser terms and approval, you may give your tickets to another person to use. Name changes policies may vary on an event basis, subject to the Event Organiser terms. Please check specific event terms of service regarding name changes.

Leap Event Technology will not replace or refund lost, stolen or damaged hard copy tickets (except in limited circumstances at our sole discretion of the Event Organiser). Lost e-tickets can be re-issued to the original ticket purchaser to the email address used to purchase the tickets a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours prior the event. You may be charged a reasonable fee for any ticket reissued by us.

Unless required by applicable consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, delivery fees are upfront charges for expenses incurred by Leap Event Technology and will not be refundable for events where a ticket refund is payable. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, modify or limit the operation of applicable consumer protection laws with respect to refunds, including (where relevant) the European Union Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

You should carefully consider any refund and cancellation policies of travel, accommodation and other goods or service providers when making arrangements for attendance at an event. You may also wish to consider taking out a relevant insurance (including ticket protection) to cover for any losses in the event of cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event.

If you are refused entry to an event or you are a no-show, you are not entitled to a refund.

14. Cancelled, Postponed, and Relocated Events

Where an event is cancelled, postponed or significantly relocated by the Event Organiser due to circumstances outside of their control (e.g. adverse weather conditions, acts of God) or due to situations affecting the event performers, staff or audience, the Event Organiser shall make every effort to provide you with a refund and/or exchange (if applicable). In such circumstances, refunds will be determined by the Event Organiser and will be communicated as follows:

  1. you will be notified by email by the Event Organiser or Leap Event Technology; or
  2. you can review notices posted on the Event Organiser’s website or contact the Event Organiser via the email address supplied on the Event Organiser’s event listing on the Site.

Leap Event Technology will post any relevant information regarding any cancelled, postponed or rescheduled events on the Site when applicable when notified by the Event Organiser. It is your responsibility to check the Site for information concerning any events.

Where an event is relocated or rescheduled, the Event Organiser may set refund limitations and will communicate relevant refund instructions.

If an event is rescheduled or significantly relocated and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event, you must request a refund by the deadline specified in order to obtain a refund of the sale price of your tickets (Unless required by applicable consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015), booking and delivery fees will not be refundable for events, where this is either specified in the event information for the event, or additional terms are displayed and agreed to by the purchaser during the booking process). Failure to notify us by the specified deadline will be deemed to be a reconfirmation of your attendance to the event, and you will not be able to claim a refund (unless required by applicable law).

Event changes

The Event Organiser generally reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists at an event and vary advertised programs, seating arrangements and audience capacities.

The Event Organiser may also be required, as a result of Government directions, orders or regulations, to reduce the number of persons who may attend the event, change your standing or seating configurations, or change the entry requirements for the event.

Unless required by applicable law, refunds will not be required as a result of the use of understudies in theatre performances; adverse weather conditions; changes of any supporting act; changes to individual members of a band; changes to the line-up of any multi-performer event (such as a festival), curtailment of the event where the majority of an event is performed in full; and delays to the starting of the performance of an event and changes to seating arrangements, entry requirements and audience capacities (other than where a change in audience capacity results in the cancellation of your ticket).

Refund methods

Refunds will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial ticket purchase. Unless required by applicable consumer protection law, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU or the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, booking and delivery fees will not be refundable for events, where this is either specified in the event information for the event or additional terms are displayed and agreed to by the purchaser during the booking process.

If a refund has been confirmed by Leap Event Technology and the Event Organiser for a cancelled, postponed or significantly relocated event, then the following refund method applies:

  1. If you booked online or by phone using a credit card, Leap Event Technology will apply a refund to the credit card used for the original ticket purchase within fourteen (14) days of notifying you that a refund for this event has been issued.
  1. Where an Event Organiser uses their own merchant facility for processing payments, payments are made directly to the Event Organiser and not received by Leap Event Technology. Where this occurs, you will be refunded directly by the Event Organiser. Leap Event Technology will work with the Event Organiser to arrange help facilitate this but will have no responsibility or liability for such refunds.
  1. If you purchased the ticket(s) independently of the Site, you will need to return the tickets directly to the place where you purchased the tickets. Leap Event Technology will be unable to action a refund.

Leap Event Technology takes no responsibility for tickets that are not purchased through the Site or authorised retail outlets.
